Designing our First Home the Mediterranean way

A new chapter for Partèna Studio begins

Since the very beginning, Partèna Studio has been about more than just objects. It’s been about creating a feeling — a sense of calm, balance, and connection. Our pieces are designed to bring softness to spaces, to slow down time, and to reconnect us with what truly matters: simplicity, beauty, nature, and the feeling of being at home.

We’ve always drawn inspiration from the Mediterranean. From its colors, sun-washed whites, terracotta earths, sea greens, to its textures, rituals, and rhythms of life. There’s an honesty in Mediterranean living that we admire deeply: the way time stretches during long meals, the way homes are filled with light, breeze, and intention. This philosophy has shaped every curve, every surface, and every choice we’ve made at Partèna.

So far, we’ve explored this vision through individual pieces — vases, vessels, trays, objects that carry both form and soul. But now, it’s time for something more.

This October, I’m beginning a new adventure: a Master’s in Interior Design. It’s a step I’ve been dreaming of for a long time — one that will allow us to expand what we do and how we do it. Because we don’t just want to craft objects anymore; we want to design entire spaces. Spaces that breathe, that reflect the people who live in them, and that gently whisper: “you’re home.”

And like all meaningful change, this one begins in the most personal of places — our own home.

We’re about to move into a new apartment, and it will become our first complete interior design project. A space where we’ll experiment, learn, and grow. A creative lab. A real-life mood board. A blank canvas where we’ll bring to life our aesthetic vision and our Mediterranean philosophy. From the layout to the light, the materials to the smallest details, every corner will be shaped by what we believe in: natural beauty, handcrafted elements, and a deep respect for how a home should feel.

We believe a home doesn’t need to be filled — it needs to be felt. That’s why Partèna pieces will be at the heart of this transformation. Not just as decorative accents, but as meaningful presences in our everyday life: soft shapes echoing the sea, surfaces that hold stories, colors that feel like summer mornings or quiet evenings by the coast. Our home will be our sanctuary, and our design will reflect that.

And we want you to be part of it.

Over the next months, we’ll be sharing our journey — every before and after, every sketch, idea, moodboard, and decision. You’ll help us choose colors, layouts, furniture, and of course, which Partèna pieces best fit into each corner. We’ll ask for your feedback, your thoughts, and your eye for detail. This is not just a project we’re doing for the community — it’s something we want to build with you.

This is just the beginning. Partèna Studio is growing — from handcrafted home decor into soulful interior design. Still rooted in the Mediterranean way of living. Still slow, intentional, and full of light.
